Taking pictures of birds in flight is not the easiest thing in the world to do (unless, of course, you're Art Morris). For every in-focus shot that I managed to get, there were at least 10 that were either out of focus or really bad for some other reason. It requires a lot of practice and a lot of patience. Still, every time you get a half-way decent image like this, you feel it's worth the effort. And at least you're only "throwing away" pixels, not film!
