Nov. 13, 2006 - Evening Shadows, Zion NP
Canon 5D, 24 - 70 mm f/2.8 @ 52 mm, f/8.0, 1/160 sec., ISO 200, Feb. 2006
I have to get back to Zion NP (perhaps in March, 2007). Personally, I have never experienced this kind of light anywhere else. Maybe that's why so many photographers visit the southwestern U.S. (or migrate there permanently!) every year. The question then becomes: Why do any of us remain in the northeast where the light is rarely as good and the sky darkens considerably for about six months each year? We must be masochists.......
