Nov. 28, 2006 - Rock Creek Birdhouse (Maryland)

This image was taken on Rock Creek, which empties into the Patapsco River, which in turn becomes Chesapeake Bay. Normally, this area is much nicer this time of year (late November) than upstate New York. We were hoping to get a little extra sunshine and warmth before the December snows hit the Rochester area. Well, the morning this picture was taken was the last time we saw the sun. A nor'easter coming up the coast enveloped the area in high winds and rain for about two days. Turns out the weather was better in Rochester. So it goes.......
