I suppose that this photograph qualifies more as a "documentary" image. It seemed only fair to show the "mother ship" after posting the smaller version previously. Here you can see the actual fishing vessel poised to head out the channel into the Atlantic along the Maine coast. Perkins Cove is a heavily visited spot during tourist season. It's easily accessible (aside from the heavy traffic), has a number of small shops and restaurants, and still retains some of its original Maine "quaintness". The first President Bush, who lives in nearby Kennebunkport, is a regular at one of these restaurants.
You can also see a unique footbridge in the background. Crossing the small harbor, it's actually a manually operated lift bridge. When anything with a tall enough mast wants to enter or exit the harbor, whoever happens to be on the bridge at the time is expected to push the button that opens and closes it. It can be entertaining to just watch some of these events.
