Cavern Cascade is really not a cascade waterfall at all - it's a "plunge" waterfall (since it freefalls some 50 feet to the base below). A cascade waterfall runs down a rock face, usually at about 45 degrees. Here, the caprock extends outward far enough to allow people to walk behind the falls. On a hot day, it feels pretty good.
