July 31, 2007 - New Lobster Traps, Perkins Cove, Maine
Canon 5D, 24 - 70 mm f/2.8L @ 52 mm, f/4.5, 1/160 sec., ISO 400
Another "previously ignored" image from Maine (taken about a year ago). In case you didn't know, every lobsterman has his own colors and patterns painted on his buoys. In a way, it marks their territory out on the water and, of course, makes it easy to figure out which traps to pull up as they go through their daily routine.
I'm guessing I won't see too many of these things in Nevada - not many lobsters behind Hoover Dam!
