While I'm definitely the "new guy" in town photographically, it would appear that sunsets can be spectacular during monsoon season. Sometimes rain can be seen around the edges, but it mostly never seems to make it into the valley. This shot was taken from the street in front of my house.

For the past few days, however, the clouds seem to have vanished. Nothing but sunshine and blue sky. Watching the weather forecast on TV gets downright monotonous.
