This slot canyon in Valley of Fire state park is not very long. It is fairly deep, however, which made part of it fairly dark during mid-morning light. Until this little hike, I had never really been in a "slot canyon", although I suppose they're similar to some of the narrow gorges in NY's Finger Lakes region (except, of course, for how the rock formations were formed).
