Aug. 22, 2008 - Spring in August

Typically, the many waterfalls to be found in the Finger Lakes region of NY are at their lowest volumes in late summer. Some completely dry up and many are reduced to a trickle. Not this year. With above average rainfall totals in most areas, it looks more like spring in many of the local parks than late August.
