August 12, 2008 - Looking for Safe Harbor

Storms, storms, and more storms. The weather guys say it's a dip in the jet stream, with a high level low sitting and spinning over most of the northeast. Whatever the reason, we've had our share of rain. Here in western NY, some areas have had over 10 inches of the wet stuff since July 1st. I guess it could be worse, though. If this were January, we'd be looking at about 100 inches of snow. Now that would be a real problem.
